Phillip Spinks His current body of abstract, nonrepresentational paintings is entitled "Darwin's Predicament." The artist questions whether art is an evolution or a creation of the imagination. The predicament is that his art is an evolution of earlier works combined with new concepts to achieve richer dimensions within the current paintings.
