Addison Parks

I had the good fortune to grow up in Rome in the early 60's and study with some great painters, including Severini. Just being around arists and in their studios everyday was an education. I started showing at the age of ten, and received my first write up in the Rome Daily American (1964). After graduating from RISD in '76 I went to New York at the urging of Richard Tuttle, and enjoyed very much the same experience that I had in Rome. I showed at PS1, Washburn, and the Crispo Gallery and was written up in the Times Magazine and ARTS. Eventually I settled in Boston after traveling a great deal, and now have a studio in Lincoln and Truro. I have shown with Creiger-Dane and the Nielsen Gallery in Boston and been reviewed in the Globe.

Represented by Creiger-Dane Gallery, Boston
