Charles Duback

Charles Duback was a founding member of the Landmark Gallery in New York City in the 1970's and had numerous one-person and group exhibitions there. The Landmark Gallery was started because a lot of young artists were not able to get recognition 'Uptown' (57th Street) in New York City. While new to exhibiting in Provincetown, DuBack has worked and exhibited with accomplished and highly respected New York and Provincetown artists; among them Robert Beauchamp, Fritz Bultman, Sideo Fromboluti, Leo Manso, Paul Resika and Sidney Simon. He studied for a time with Simon at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in Maine. [more]
